I’m going home for Christmas

I'm going home today! Did I mention that I'm really excited? Well I am. I just might be jumping up and down…maybe…inside…maybe. Here's a bit of silliness I thought up about going home.

I'm going home for Christmas
And what fun it shall be
To have my brothers, my sisters
And parents around me

I'm going home for Christmas
Ok, maybe it's just today
But I'm still pretending
That it's Christmas anyway

I'm going home after work
And though it's quite a drive
I'll sing Christmas carols
All the way until I arrive

I'm going home at 4 pm today
And I wish my hubs was with me
But he's a big boy and has to work
To pay for us to live, you see

I'm going home for Christmas
And then I'll come back again
To celebrate with my new family
New traditions we'll begin
