A very "Wright" wedding

I love weddings.

Yep, I really do love them. It is so awesome to witness two people fall in love and get married, especially when you know that the Lord has brought them together. My good friends "The Wrights" are an example of just that. They had somewhat of a whirlwind romance and they really are adorable together.

While watching the ceremony unfold, I couldn't help but remember our own wedding last May. I remembered saying my vows to my husband, and the look in his eyes as he repeated them to me. Never will I forget that glorious first kiss as Mrs. Blair. I remember how joyous it was to be pronounced 'husband and wife' and walk down the isle hand in hand. I thought about our drive to Atlanta after the wedding. We got pulled over by a cop on the way there! It was felt weird to say 'husband' and I didn't really feel married. And oh, the blissful honeymoon. The simple delight of just being together, just the two of us...no more saying goodnight and driving home, no more spending months apart during the summer, no more limitations on our relationship. We were married!

Anyway, those were the thoughts running through my head. Instead of looking forward to my own wedding day like I have for most of my life, I was able to look back and remember ours. I rather like that change!

Amanda looked absolutely radiant. She took my breath away when she walked through the door! It was such a God-honoring wedding. You left knowing that He was the center of their lives and of their marriage. I pray that they are blessed tremendously as they start this exciting new journey together!

Now enough of me talking. Here are the photos!

"Hi, my name is Amanda and I am married now!"
(She didn't really say that. I just know that she was thinking that.)

I know this one is blurry, but I love the joy on her face here!

Oh so precious! They are so stinking cute.

I love this lady here. She is such a sweet friend and fellow book worm! She has a big heart for teenage girls. We seriously have so much in common...it's scary sometimes. Our conversations have a whole lot of "Really, me too!"

I adore this girl. She has such a great heart and is one of the best listeners you could ever ask for. Cassidy and I go way back to my first semester of college. I can't believe that I've already been graduated for over a year! Nuts.

Love this little girl!

Wow. Stunning is all I can say about this beautiful bride...inside and out.

I'm so happy for you guys!

Can I just say that I am so glad I don't fall in the 'single ladies' category anymore for the simple reason that I don't have to do this anymore. Amen and amen. Of course, I like being married for other reasons too. Obviously!

And now they're off! It is such a great feeling to be LEAVING your wedding. It is DONE and OVER. You can finally breathe and just be with your love. It really is pure bliss.

I hope you guys have fun! It was a beautiful day.

i think you documented this beautifully! In April I will be attending my first ever WEDDING(s). When I first came to the LORD I 1)Desired to be married, which was something I was against before. 2) Wanted to attend someone I knew and loved wedding so bad, just to experience the beauty of two souls uniting in the spirit of the LORD!!!...

Now I will be attending two weddings in 1 month!!! The Lord is so sweet and He has truly delivered.

Thanks for sharing I feel as if I attended :)!

Looks like a lovely wedding! It's celebrating true love the best!? :) And amen to what you said about leaving your wedding...the wedding part is so wonderful, but after it all it gets to be "just us"...heaven :)

PS - LOVE your dress! Animal print-ish...but the hearts surprise me! :)

I love weddings too! I'm still technically part of the "single ladies" category and my boyfriend and I are going to his brothers' wedding in September where I get to participate in the wonderful bouquet toss. I will also be happy when that time in my life is past!
