In the city...

So this afternoon, I was itching to get out and take some photos. I spent most of the morning cleaning the house and working on a project, so a little trip out of the house was calling my name. Jonathan had to meet a guy at church to go over some music stuff, thus giving me a perfect opportunity for a little creative fun while he was gone. There is a great spot downtown with some run-down warehouses. It's a perfect little place for a photo op.

Perfect, in all it's dilapidated glory.

I love all the vines growing all over the place.

My friends Arielle and Rylie inspired my fishtail braid today.

Obviously I didn't obey the sign, but it was worth it!

Do you ever itch for some creativity?

Oh I dream of learning how to do a fishtail. Never could learn..that or a french braid. :(

This looks like the same place you took fun wedding dress pictures, is it the same? Do you just put your camera on a tripod and timer?

You're looking cute there...naturally. ;) You pull off what I know I can't. haha

Yeah, it's a soda tab bracelet! I'm making them to sell at a mission camps this summer to raise money for an organization. I like 'em!

I love everything about your pictures...the scenery, your outfit and especially your fishtail braid. Maybe you should do a how-to blog on that someday. :)

I am like completely and utterly jealous of this location for photographs. Heck, I'd live there. I find some of the most beautiful places are ones that people have either let die or have become over grown. The grass makes it so beautiful. Loving the pictures of you too - so pretty! And come on, your eyes are way nicer. x

yes I DO itch. my blog is one of those venues for that creativity to be expressed thankfully. I also itch to just GET AWAY. To check out and go to a bookstore and read an amazing book full of true love and Gods idea of romance. I also itch to just drive sometimes. I live in a beautiful part of this world and if gas prices would allow me I would seriously drive for hours looking and admiring all of the gorgeous scenery of southern California.

You are so stunning. I love your eyes. It's getting pretty serious I think I'm going to have to stop looking at your posts when you have close ups of yourself. lol I'm sure you get asked a lot of those are your real eyes just because they are supernaturally blue.

Glad you got to satisfy that itch pretty lady. Be blessed this SUNDAY FUNDAY and come Monday I pray the joy is still there :)!

creativity itch...all.the.time.
what kind of carmera do you use?

I know! My blog is that kind of an outlet for me too. Don't you love it? I itch to do those things too! :)

And thank you! Girl, you should see my whole family. All 6 of us have eyes like that. Mine aren't even the bluest ones. Well, one of my brothers has green eyes, but there are cool looking too. I hope my babies get blue eyes and my husband's curly hair! Although, his chocolate colored eyes are pretty dreamy too. I love close ups of eyes. God was so creative when we made us. One day, I want to do a collage of all the different eyes I can find. I think it would be so pretty!

Oh and my camera is just a $170 Nikon point and shoot...I'd love to get a good one someday!

Hey there! I stumbled upon your blog about a year ago and I liked it so much! But then I forgot the blog name/link and I searched high and low for it and couldn't find it. I thought I would never find it again. Then a couple nights ago, I found it by accident and needless to say, I was very glad. :) Your engagement/wedding story has inspired me so much, you and your husband are truly an example of what a Godly marriage/relationship is all about. I pray that God blesses your lives with abundance and prosperity in every area, in Jesus' name.

Many blessings,
Alexia
