Ah, ah, ah... Ah, ah, ah... Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah ah...
Ariel's voice floated through my head almost every night before I went to bed. It was official. I was obsessed with Disney's The Little Mermaid. She was everything I aspired to be; she was beautiful, adventurous, friendly, brave, she had the most gorgeous voice...and she had...
Prince Eric!
I dreamed of him as often as I sang myself to sleep with Ariel's songs. How often was that now? Oh yeah, every single night.
Wish I could be part of your world!
And how I longed to be part of his world. I even drew myself getting married to Prince Eric when I grew up. In those pictures he was perfect and so was everything in my life...I even had red hair just like Ariel!
What does Price Eric have to do with our love story? Well, jump over The Honey Pie Archives to find out!

That was a great love story. Thanks.
Heading over there now :)
Ariel was always a favorite and I loved singing her songs, but the songs I never stop singing are Belle's from Beauty and the Beast. I think I even know the lines by heart! (ok for the first part of the movie!)
btw, i like the changes around here. cute! :)
you changed the layout!! It looks amazing :). I will be hopping over to your neck of the woods and checking out the guest post girl. LOVE YOU!
And btw. I totally wanted to be free like POCAHONTAS. She was beautiful (darker like me)... LONGGG FLOWYYYY HAIR. Men fought for her. She belonged to noone. Her closest friends were animals and a tree that talked. She was just "the bomb". hahaha And now I see it was her courage more than anything that I admired. She was way more fearless than I ever was. Funny how we cling to these DISNEY characters for soooo many different reasons as children but the reasons are pretty darn profound nonetheless. haha

*sigh* You two are lovely! Isn't it amazing that just when we give up something to God (thinking "now it'll never happen") is just when He chooses to give back to us what we gave to Him, only in ten-fold! God is so good :)
Oh wow, I had no idea that another blogger was doing a love story series the same time as me. Well, your guest post was fantastic! And what a gorgeous wedding dress. :-D
love this post. I must share because you posted the picture in the very beginning but when I was a little girl, I was a little obsessed with this movie. She was my favorite character princess, her hair flowed in the water like it was silk and she could sing so beautiful (plus she got prince eric <3) but at this point in the movie where she gets up on the rock and sings that big note, I used to go up to the end of the couch, on the arm, and pretend it was the rock and hit that note as best I could.
you brought back some memories lady but this story you posted is beautiful. you rock.
I'm one of your newest followers. I am loving all of your posts, I can tell you will be one of my daily reads!
